What Do You Want Control Over?

If everything went my way, everything would be perfect! Short answer? Everything.

I've always struggled with control, it's the thing that will make me spiral. I think it's the reason why being vulnerable and relinquishing my emotions is so difficult for me. It's kind of like a game of chess where you don't want them to know your next move. If you control your emotions, the narrative, the situation... nothing can catch you on your heels. At least, that's how I've always felt about control. I have some work to do in this department.

I do think there are some beautiful feelings that can come with lacking control. With the small things, it can be freeing to let go. Also, in a world where things happen to you out of your control, you can't blame yourself. For once, it wasn't your fault.
