Why Do You Work So Hard?

Nothing has ever come very easy, except for school, I sort of skated though. Everything else worth having though has always been a trial. I love proving to myself I can do hard things from putting up a sheet of drywall, making the awkward cold call, or having that conversation that no one wants to really have. Life starts outside of your comfort zone and you don't really get to try new things if you don't work hard to change the tide or go against the grain. Working hard has always been rewarding even when it's not. I work hard to secure my idea of the future. There are no cheat codes or hidden shortcuts guaranteed, the only way to secure your future is with hard work and grit. The ability to get back up even when it seems impossible or someone else is doing the work to hold you down.
